The italian artist Smerlot, the creator of the artworks, interprets an avant-garde style that could be defined as a dreamlike and holistic neo-decorativism, which incorporates some features of art noveaux and surrealism. A decorative fantasy that manages to reconcile with functionality and strong oriental influence. In particular, his is a thorough research on color and its frequencies and musicality. Echoing his walks as a child in the gardens and atmospheres of Capri and the Amalfi coast, he is inspired by the natural landscapes of the Mediterranean and oriental cultures.
